A new Overwatch 2 event is currently live, and some fans are voicing their opinions on the latest Widowmaker skin by calling it “pay to lose.” The current event has a handful of heroes, all in Greek mythology skins.

Thanks to a CharlieIntel report, we know that the Medusa skin on Widowmaker is disadvantaging players Come from Sports betting site VPbet. The report goes on to share a tweet by Brian St. Pierre, an Overwatch 2 pro, who showcases how loud the snakes on Widowmaker’s head are in a tweet, which makes it difficult to hear where the enemies are and easier for them to spot you due to the noise they make.

The Indiana Gaming Commission has reportedly moved to permanently revoke the Indiana casino license held by local entrepreneur Rod Ratcliff (pictured) over allegations that he failed to disclose the transfer of business funds into a personal wagering account.

According to a Wednesday report from The Indianapolis Star newspaper, Ratcliffe partnered with former Centaur Holdings executive John Keeler in 2018 to lead a group that established Spectacle Entertainment so as to buy Indiana’s floating Majestic Star Casino Hotel and Majestic Star Casino Hotel II venues. This entity purportedly later successfully lobbied for the right to relocate one of these Gary riverboat casinos to a fresh and more profitable land-based site located along nearby Interstate 94.

Coming casino:

The newspaper reported that this new $300 million venue is set to debut later this year as the Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana featuring a collection of about 1,650 slots alongside some 80 gaming tables. However, any opening ceremonies are purportedly not likely to feature Ratcliff as he was forced to resign as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Spectacle Entertainment…

Amazon has revealed that its upcoming Fallout TV series will debut on Prime Video in 2024, and will be at least partially set in sunny Los Angeles, the city “where dreams come true.”

The admittedly slight update on the Fallout series came from the Prime Video Twitter account, which shared this image—and only this image—earlier today.

2024 isn’t the most precise release date ever, but it’s more than what we had. Filming began in July 2022, and we previously expected that the show would air sometime in late 2023. It’s entirely speculative, but the lack of a more definite date in today’s announcement makes me think that we probably won’t see it very early in the year—2024 is only four months away, after all.

The Amazon image also reaffirms that the Fallout show will feature Vault 33, as indicated by the “33” on the Vault Boy’s uniform. Unfortunately, we don’t know anything about what’s taken place behind that particular Vault door, whether it’s a normal, fully-functional fallout shelter dedicated to the preservation of human life, or a bizarre experiment dedicated to making people suffer horrifically in the pursuit of some twisted corporate agend…

Dragon’s Dogma 2 lets you hire other players’ main pawns for both pyramid scheme good and plague-spreading evil—both some pretty big extremes on the spectrum of compassion and injustice. Well, turns out there’s a more chaotic neutral way to bother another player via pawns—nothing harmful, it’s just kinda funny. Welcome to the wonderful world of counterfeit items.

There are two things you need to know to understand the tweet above. Firstly, when you hire another player’s pawn, you can send them back to their master with a gift. If you’re anything like me, this is usually a scrag of meat or something, but if you really had a good time with your pawn you can give something more meaningful—a cool weapon you’ve got spare, some powerful consumables, or a rotten fish. Whatever floats your boat.

The second, vital bit of context is that Dragon’s Dogma 2 has a sort of item duping system in it—via the Scrap Store in the Checkpoint Rest Town. This shop, which strikes me as the mediaeval fantasy equivalent of a Duty Free, lets you make forgeries of certain items.

Whether or not the forgery will share the same statistics is another question enti…

Updated 10/26/25: Garry Newman got back to PCG to clarify some confusion around this, mainly that it wasn’t achieved in Garry’s Mod. “It was actually in s&box,” explains Newman, “not Garry’s Mod, someone made a sandbox mod for it and added the achievement.”

Original story follows: Garry’s Mod is a physics sandbox created by Garry Newman and Facepunch Studios way back in 2004, and in the two decades since release it has spawned countless thousands of mods, memes and gamemodes. Back in 2019 PC Gamer spoke to Garry Newman about the first 15 years, and asked about the most-requested feature from players:

“The biggest thing, by about a million miles, is the ‘Played with Garry’ achievement,” says Newman. “It’s one of the hardest achievements to get on Steam—for obvious reasons.”

The achievement is called “Yes, I am the real Garry!” and requires players to “play on the same server as Garry” himself. If you look at Gmod’s achievements 2.8% of players have managed to bag this, which still seems relatively high, but bear in mind that many frustrated players have resorted to spoofing e…
